MDZ-Echelon supports UEFI

Secure boot loader, ‘MDZ-Echelon’ supports UEFI.

MDZ-Echelon prevents unauthorized users from booting using removable media and checks the integrity of OS system files. Previous versions of the product were deeply integrated with the BIOS and therefore the product was particularly hardware dependent.

The Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) is known as a specification that defines a software interface between an operating system and platform firmware. UEFI is meant to replace the Basic BIOS firmware interface.

Our development team is currently finishing the testing of UEFI support.
